For those who spend the majority of their time in front of the computer screen with the same posture all day, it is common to face severe aching throughout the body which in the long run might impact the strength of the muscles. Supersports has brought qualified fitness-trainers to introduce 5 easy and basic exercises for gamers, so that everyone can stay fit and firm, and be free of any body aches that emerge from sitting in front of the computer for a long span of time.

All the 5 exercises are the representation of each team whether its “P’Waen” from MiTH Team and “N’Mickey” and “N’View” from Bacon Tim Team that will demonstrate the equipment along with the exercise in the easiest manner for our Esports athletes that is required to sit in front of their computer exceeding 10 hours per day. Let’s proceed to see the 5 exercises and try to follow along with the demonstration.

1st exercise: Sitting all day, our abdominal muscles need to be strong

Required equipment: AB-ROLLER / AB-SCULPT

Start with placing our knees on a padding, contracting our abdominal muscles then roll the ab-roller along with pushing our body forward. After that, reverse the movement coming back to your starting point. For further challenge, stand up and bend yourselves down, roll the ab-roller forward till you reach the planking posture, and reverse your moves to return to the starting standing position.

2nd exercise: Push-up to workout our arms and wrists muscle

Required equipment: Resistance band, PTP Medi band

Exercising with push-ups will help workout the different types of muscles, along with our arms and wrists that gamers use intensively. Once you feel strong enough, it is possible to add-in a challenge by increasing the resistance. First lay down with your face facing the floor having the resistance band placed across your back and using both of your hands to press the resistance band to the floor. Then slowly lift your body up, and carefully increase the speed. The knees can be placed either to the floor or lifted from the floor to enhance the difficulty of the exercise. Do this exercise 3 sets, 15-20 times for each.

3rd exercise: Exercising our arms and shoulders

Required equipment: Resistance band PTP Medi band

The resistance band can help exercise our front forearm and rear forearm, up to our shoulders which will help our gamers with their neck and shoulders ache. This following exercise can be done both standing and sitting. Standing posture can be done easily by standing with our arms stretched forward. The resistance band must be held with our hands and spread in and out accordingly, or the resistance band can be placed crossing our back parallel to our shoulders and stretched in and out. This will help exercise our rear forearm and shoulders. For the sitting position, stretch both of your legs and place one end of the resistance band over the sole of your feet. For the other end of the resistance band use your hands to stretch the resistance band toward your shoulders. After that slowly release the band, at this stage you will feel the resistance. Do this exercise 3 sets, 15-20 times for each.

4th exercise: Jump rope, cardio to reduce belly fats

Required equipment: Jump rope

Measure the length of the rope appropriately by standing up while holding both of the rope’s handles. Have the handles stage around our chest, once the length has been adjusted, begin to jump slowly and softly till you are able to find the perfect speed and pattern for you. After you are comfortable with the speed and jumping pattern try increasing the speed to your liking. This exercise is excellent to lose some sweat.

5th exercise: Body twist, firming our waist

Required equipment: Twist plate 

Stand steadily with both sole of your feet on the twist plate and start moving by twisting your torso and thigh to the left and right accordingly. Then slowly increase the speed of your movement.
